Choir
The choir is open to children from Year 3 to Year 6 who enjoy singing and performing. It rehearses on a Thursday afternoon after school and is led by Mrs Heymoz.

achievements. Pupils sing in assembly and visit other schools to watch performances.
Pope Paul Catholic Primary School is known locally as ‘the singing school’ because of their

The choir has grown from strength to strength from when it started in September 2010. There have been many highlights including:

July 2014: Soloists at Barnardo’s Supporters Concert, Royal Albert Hall
November 2014: Winners of the Act4 Choir Competition
March 2015: Finalists of the National Barnardo’s Choir Competition, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank
May 2015: Performance at Nicholas Breakspear School

November 2017: Soloist Performances at Barnardo’s Concert, Royal Albert Hall
June 2019: Invited to sing with the Adoramus Choir, St Alban’s Arena
December 2019: Invited to sing at Canada Life Potters Bar
The choir perform annually at the Potters Bar Town Carols held at the Wyllyots Theatre and sing for the Our Lady and St Vincent’s Over 50s Club and the Potters Bar Community Club.

Barnardo’s Concert At The Royal Albert Hall Wednesday 1st November 2017
What an amazing time we had! Thank you to Mrs Theo, Mrs Harper, Mrs Guerin and Ms Jacobs for accompanying the choir on Wednesday. The choir sang beautifully and their behaviour was exemplary. Well done to Daniel, Sofia and Olivia for your amazing solo singing. I was a very proud headteacher! Thank you to Ms Jacobs for these wonderful photos.
Barnardo’s Concert At The Royal Festival Hall May 2016
We had a fabulous time at the Barnardo’s concert on Wednesday 16th May.We sang as part of a massed choir directed by Sir Douglas Coombes, a celebrated composer and conductor. Luca was chosen to sing a solo as part of the concert; he sounded amazing. Well done to everyone who took part and for our parent helpers who spent the day with us.
