Thank you for your continued support.

What sort of things does FOPPS organise?

Since 2021 and the Covid pandemic, we have focused on working with the school to organise summer and Christmas parties in school time. In this way all children have the chance to take part and have fun as well as raising much needed funds.

This year we plan to focus on the following events.

  • Summer Fun Party and Raffle
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Christmas Party and Raffle

How does a typical FOPPS event come about and how do you make things happen?

Ideas are discussed at our meetings held roughly every six weeks. If a group of parents are interested in organising an event a  viability  form must be completed and submitted to Mrs Heymoz  with information about the organisation, health and safety and costing of the event.

How has FOPPS fundraising helped the school?

FOPPS has funded many items of equipment all in consultation with Mrs Heymoz and other teachers who advise us about what’s needed. As school budgets are very tight, our fund-raising is crucial in enabling the school to continue to offer rich learning opportunities for our children.

How do I get involved?

You can contact any of the committee members by emailing fopps@popepaul.herts.sch.uk or alternatively, you can leave your name and a contact number at the school office and one of us will get back in touch.
