Help is always appreciated at all of our events. If you would like to volunteer please speak to any FOPPS member or contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support.
What sort of things does FOPPS organise?
The complete list would be a very long one, but here’s a flavour of some of the things we’ve done in the past:
- Strawberry Fayre
- Christmas Fayre
- Golf Day
- Disco/Band Nights for the adults
- Disco/Karaoke nights for the kids
- Book Clubs
- Movie Nights
- Fun Runs
- Indulgence Evenings
How does a typical FOPPS event come about and how do you make things happen?
Ideas are discussed at our meetings, held roughly every six weeks. As a group we decide which ones we want to take forward, and a small group is formed (a sub-committee in effect) to work out the real detail, with a Primary and Secondary sponsor volunteering for each event.
How has FOPPS fundraising helped the school?
FOPPS has funded many items of equipment, all in consultation with Mrs Heymoz and other teachers who advise us about what’s needed. We plan to keep an updated list of where the money goes on the FOPPS link on the website.
How do I get involved?
You can contact any of the committee members by emailing fopps@popepaul.herts.sch.uk or alternatively, you can leave your name and a contact number at the school office and one of us will get back in touch.
