Year 6 Week Beginning 6.5.24
This week seems to have flown by, due to the bank holiday on Monday!
On Tuesday, Sofia-Rose, Christoph and the liturgy leaders led the whole school in the May Procession, in honour of Our Lady. Once in the Peace Garden, Christoph and Sofia-Rose crowned Mary before assisting the rest of the school with the laying of flowers. Thank you so much for your beautiful flower donations!
It has been so wonderful to finally see some warm, dry weather! The field was dried out enough to have PE on it today, (which was very exciting),and the children finally had the space they needed to really spread out and play cricket. To take full advantage of the weather and field, Year 6 also organised some sports games for the Reception children this afternoon.
Year 6, you have worked so hard in preparation for your SATs next week; I am so proud of every single one of you.
This weekend try to get outside, have fun and enjoy the sunshine.
On Sunday, try and get lots of rest and have an early night. Get organised the night before, so that you don’t put yourself under unnecessary pressure, and if you have a tendency to be late, set an alarm a little earlier than usual, so that you arrive calm and focussed.
On Monday morning, make sure that you have a good breakfast.
You will all be amazing!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Ms Pemberton
