Week 11
This week in science, we have been learning about taking repeated measurements to improve reliability. We created autogyros with different blade surface areas, and timed how long they took to fall. In this lesson, we required our maths skills to calculate the surface areas and find the averages of our results.
We have now concluded our Traction Man recounts and I have been impressed by the standard of writing. The children really engaged with the text and wrote in role brilliantly. I could see they considered their word choices, took inspiration from the story and used parentheses with increasing confidence.
On Thursday, we teamed up with year 6 to practise our athletic skills.
Have a great weekend,
Mrs Lines
