Week 8 and 9 Blog

Last week the children engaged in outdoor learning activities. They dug up their flower bed and planted new bulbs in time for Spring. This linked to their science learning – seasonal change and plants. There was lots of discussion about if they planted their bulbs up side down or side ways would they still grow?

This week the children have been learning all about regrouping numbers to 10 using a whole and two part model. There was lots of discussion based around this and they enjoyed the hands on practical approach opportunity it provided.

In P.E the children have been learning how to roll.
