Week 10: 17th November

This week we started our writing focus on a wonderful book: Traction Man!  The children have embraced all the activities that we have been doing in class: hot seating, whole class discussion, examining scenes from the story etc..

On Monday, many of the children brought their favourite toys into school and talked about the adventures that they have shared with them.   We are going to write a recount from the point of view of  Traction Man next week so we have been looking at changing the present tense of verbs into the past tense.

In RE we have been looking at the Annunciation Story through art and the children spent time painting their scenes in water colour and oil pastels.  The children produced some meaningful pictures.
