Summer 1 Week 3

The children took part in a skateboard workshop on Wednesday. I was impressed with how quickly they learnt new skills.

In Maths the children have been learning to multiply two digit numbers by a one-digit number by regrouping.

In preparation for the Coronation, the children learnt about King Charles III and made a fact file about his life. They learnt about his role as the king and the jobs he would do. Then the children made clay crowns and painted them. They look fantastic!

Well done to the children who sent in their home learning in on King Charles! It was great to hear the facts they had learnt. If you did not complete it, please send it in next week.

On Friday we had a wonderful celebration for the coronation. We decorated biscuits, ate ice lollies, sang songs and had a party. The children look great dressed in red, white and blue.
