Classroom Prayer
Classroom Prayer at Pope Paul School
At Pope Paul School, prayer is an integral part of daily life, fostering a sense of faith and spirituality in every child. Each classroom is a special space where pupils gather to reflect, connect with God, and grow in their understanding of Gospel values. Guided by the structure of We Gather, We Listen, We Respond, We Go Forth, pupils engage deeply with the Sunday Gospel throughout the week, encountering it in various ways to enrich their understanding and application of its message. From teacher-led sessions using engaging resources such as Mark 10 Mission, to child-led celebrations and communal prayer in song, our approach encourages active participation and meaningful reflection. Through dedicated prayer tables featuring the Gospel, visual reminders of our weekly mission, and moments of quiet reflection, every child is invited to encounter God’s love in a personal and tangible way. These sacred moments encourage our children to reflect on how they can live out their mission to care, respect, and build a better world by using their talents and doing their best. |
