Spring Term Week 7
It is Fairtrade fortnight and so Year 5 have been reminding themselves of its importance. They also evaluated how relevant its message of social justice is to us as Catholics by using evidence found in Scripture.
Along with the rest of the school, we have begun our learning based on the book, ‘The Adventures of Dish and Spoon’. It is an imaginative text that explores what happened after the duo ran away together in the famous rhyme, Hey Diddle Diddle. We have depended our understanding of the characters through role play.
During Mini Police this week, Year 5 explored the concept of antisocial behaviour. They identified different types and thought about how the victims would feel.
It was wonderful to meet with you at the parent consultation evenings this week to share the children’s success and targets.
Have a fantastic weekend,
Mrs Lines
