Blog week 23
Another very busy week, starting with an unexpected tennis lesson on Wednesday which the children thoroughly enjoyed!
‘The day I got eaten!’ big story write, proved a big hit and their finished story now takes pride of place in our classroom display. Subtraction and learning a new format proved challenging but children were quick to be resourceful in their learning and used a range of equipment to help them. Lastly, on Friday we had the pleasure in watching Year 3’s assembly and the lovely Irish dancers in the hall. This was followed by a celebration morning in class, sharing understanding of fossils for ‘British Science Week! We also enjoyed a shared breakfast. A huge thank you to all the parents for your support in making this special for the children and donating to CAFOD.
Thoroughly enjoyed the St Patrick’s Day assembly and the celebration morning. Thank you for letting us make a fossil – it was fun!
Message from Kate:
Well done to Year 1 for making wonderful fossils! Are your fossils 100% rock hard yet?
