Year 6 – 07/01/22 – Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and Happy Epiphany for yesterday! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Here the children are in their crowns, and here is our Epiphany display.

Today, we had a Science Day where we investigated the question: How does the distance between an object and the light source affect the size of the shadow?

After careful planning, investigating and plotting results on a line graph, most groups concluded that the closer the object is to the light source, the larger its shadow will be.

Our PE days this term will be Wednesday and Friday, so please ensure that children come to school in their full PE kits on those days.

This week’s spellings (to be tested 14/01/22):

Spelling Frame: Rule 41

adorable
adorably

considerable
considerably
changeable

comfortable
enjoyable
horrible

Enjoy your weekend!
