Year 3 Week 3 Friday 9th May

Thank you for gifting the flowers today, they made a beautiful gift to Mary.

The children reflected this week on how Mary and the disciples were waiting for The Holy Spirit and then they learnt about what gifts The Holy Spirit gave at Pentecost.

Maths
In Maths this week, the children have continued their learning on fractions. They have looked at fractions on a number line and also used fractions to calculates different scales.

The children finished their unit on Money on Thursday and Fridays and had a fun problem solving session. They enjoyed it so much they wanted to take the sheets home!

Science
In Science, the children have been exploring different types of rocks. On Wednesday, they tested various rocks to see if they floated in water, they also used nails to try scratching the rocks to see how soft or hard they were.

 

P.E. days are Monday and Thursdays
