Summer 1: Week 3

In Re this week the children were learning to recognise what a Pentecost person is like. They came up with a brainstorm of ideas on the carpet and then went on to complete the person outline in their books.

Year one have enjoyed all their activities this week. The week started with our last session with the Hertfordshire mental health well being team. The children revisited all the zones of regulation and how to use their backpack of skills to help them with their emotions. They were awarded their certificates and were sad to say goodbye to Debbie and Bethany who have been working with them this term. A big thank you to the them for all the lovely activities they have done with the children.

Year one continued their tennis lessons with more fun games and balancing skills.

In History the children continued their learning on the Monarchy and King Charles III. They designed a coin for him and were also given scenarios to discuss and decide how they would respond if they were King or Queen.
