Spring 2 Week 6
Well done to the Reception children. They have completed two terms at school!
This week, we have been learning about the Easter Story. We acted out the story of when Jesus travelled to Jerusalem. Then we listened to the story of the Last Supper and acted it out. Then we read the story of Good Friday and acted it out and made crosses. The children made booklets with writing and pictures of the stories.
In Maths, we have been learning to make 10. The children have been using resources, drawing and writing different ways to make 10. Please practise at home.
It was lovely to have Raiya’s mum and baby brother come to our class. The children asked questions about how to care for a baby.
On Wednesday, we did a teddy swap. Thank you to all of the people who donated. On Friday, we did an Easter Egg hunt and a bunny hop to raise money for charity. Thank you for your donations.
Children should read during the holidays and continue to practise the sounds that they do not know.
Please send a sun hat in next term with their name on it. We spend a lot of time outside, children will not be able to play outside without one.
