    LANGUAGES

    Primary French – Beginners’ French for 10-11 year olds. Content also relevant to KS2 QCA Units 1-6.

    LITERACY

    Treasure Island – A site based on treasure island

    The Official Eric Carle Website – The official Eric Carle website – features ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and ‘The Red Fox’.

    Beatrix Potter – The world of Beatrix Potter tells us about the life of the author and the characters in her books.

    CBeebies – Activities and games based on CBeebies characters such as the Teletubbies, Fimbles, Tweenies and Bob the Builder. Aimed at ages up to 6.

    Digger and the Gang – Digger and the Gang activities to support Year 3 and 4 of the National Strategies for Literacy and Numeracy, and KS1 and KS2 programmes of study.

    Dynamo – DynaMo Literacy, numeracy and science games, including Spellbound and Who’s Spooking Who? Designed for home use.

    Spellits – Covers the word and text objectives of year 3, 4 and 5 of the National Literacy Strategy.

    Starship – Aimed at children preparing for KS1 National Tests in English.

    The Magic Key – Can be used in the literacy hour for reception year and year 1.

    Words and Pictures – Learning phonics can be used as part of the literacy hour for years 1, 2 and 3 with interactive games suitable for whole class work using an interactive whiteboard.

    NUMERACY

    NRICH – A really rich resource, for extending students, with new activities each month; use the Archive to find activities and solutions from previous months.

    Rugby Football Union – The official site of the Rugby Football Union.

    SCIENCE
