Year 6 – Friday 19th June learning

We’re at the end of another week, Year 6, and today is the Feast of the Sacred Heart, when we remember Jesus’ divine love for humanity.

In Readtheory this week, Luca T won 1st place, Evie 2nd place and Alex 3rd place. Alex has also been smashing it on Duolingo. Well done!

I’ve enjoyed receiving learning from Maria, Taanya and Evie this week. Maria and Taanya both created Black Lives Matter posters, whilst Evie baked delicious raspberry cupcakes.

Wider curriculum For this week, your wider curriculum learning will be based on what’s currently in the news. The tasks here are linked to last week’s edition of children’s newspaper, First News, which you can find here. Refer to the page number, then enjoy doing the relevant activity for each article. Each day, try and complete at least one of the activities in the grid.
