Year 6 – 22/04/22
Happy Easter and welcome back to a new term! Year 6 have worked so hard in their first week back. We have been doing SATs practice in Maths and English, learning about the Resurrection in RE, and running for different distances in PE. This morning, house captains Phoebe and William led an assembly about St Bernadette to celebrate her feast day, which was in the Easter holidays (April 16th). Well done to both of them! Click here to see some of the pictures that were captured of this.
Well done James, Joseph and Phoebe for your beautiful Easter gardens:
Your home learning for this week is:
Maths | Mathletics assignment:
· Calculating Percentages · Decimal to Percentage · Percentage to Fraction · Percentage Word Problems |
Times Tables | Can you get an average of 3 seconds per times table on https://ttrockstars.com/ ? |
Reading | Please complete 5 passages on ReadTheory.org |
Spelling | Y5 and Y6 Spelling words (Random selection)
Please log on to Spelling Frame to practise a random selection of the Y5 and Y6 Spellings (Spelling Rule 62). Also recognise which spelling rules you find tricky, and find these to practise on Spelling Frame (have a look at all year groups). As you know, anything can come up in the SATs paper. |
Have a lovely weekend.
See you Monday.
