Liturgy Leaders
| Liturgy Leaders at Pope Paul School 2024/2025
We are the Liturgy Leaders at Pope Paul Primary School – Chloe, Michael, Mya, Sophie, and Tiya! As Liturgy Leaders, we lead assemblies each week for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We also lead prayers each week at lunchtimes, depending on the liturgical season. This has included the Rosary, the Examen, Lectio Divina, and the Dolor Rosary during Lent. We are also compiling a scrapbook of the Catholic life of our school community. Each week, our school has a special mission based on the Sunday Gospel. It’s our responsibility to share this mission and help each class understand how they can live it out both in school and at home. We also work closely with Deacon Sean from our parish of Our Lady and St Vincent, which makes us an important link between the school and parish communities. Being a Liturgy Leader has really helped us grow in confidence, especially when speaking in front of others and leading prayer, such as the Rosary. It’s also helped us deepen our own prayer life and relationship with Jesus. This role has been a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone in the younger years who might be thinking about becoming a Liturgy Leader when they reach Year Six.
