Autumn 1 Week 5
Our first Catholic Social Teaching focus, was ‘caring for creation.’ We came together with year 3, to discuss how the world is a gift from God, that we must protect and care for. Also in RE we deepened our understanding of how the story of the Burning Bush from Exodus helped develop the belief in one God (monotheism).
In computing we have been learning about the World Wide Web and who owns the content on different websites and platforms.
We have explored overlapping pattern, in art this week, and look forward to adding this technique to our final pieces.
Our animal stories inspired by ‘The Rainbow Flamingo’ have now been published and are proudly on display in our classroom. Our new unit is about a dream giver.
Have a lovely weekend
