Today is National Writing Day and we are setting you a challenge!

The challenge has three simple rules:
1. Write a story or poem in 24 words.
2. Start with the words ‘One day’.
3. You only have 7 minutes to write!

The tasks here are linked to last week’s edition of children’s newspaper, First News, which you can find here. Refer to the page number, then enjoy doing the relevant activity for each article. Each day, try and complete at least one of the activities in the grid.
