Year 6 – 18/03/22

This week has been Science Week, for which the theme has been ‘Growth’. We were lucky enough to have a crystal growing session with Mr Friedlander from Dame Alice Owen School yesterday afternoon, and are looking forward to seeing how much they grow over the weekend!

We celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a fantastic display from the school’s Irish dancers. A huge well done to Darcie-Louise and Lily for representing Year 6 and being a credit to the class.

Joseph came home from school saying he’d had “the best week I’ve ever had at school”.This was due to science week and the science experiments! I just thought I’d share that. He was telling everybody over the weekend his favourite subject is now science. Music to my ears! Thank you so much for arranging science week and making it so much fun for the children.
