Year 6 – 07/03/20
Today, the Fairtrade Group were very busy concluding this year’s Fairtrade Fortnight: they led an assembly, ran the Banana & Biscuit Sale, and ended the day being true ambassadors for the school by presenting to the Year 5s and 6s at Ladbrooke School, promoting the importance of supporting Fairtrade. It was a privilege to accompany them and watch them standing in front of other children, speaking so clearly and confidently.
In RE this week, Mrs McNamara worked with the children to write and record their own radio broadcasts promoting Fairtrade.
Also this week, the Biodiversity Team chose the winners of their ‘Animal Hotel Competition’ – well done to the team for organising this competition to support wildlife in our local area.
