Year 3 Week 4 Friday 21st March
RE.
Well done children for taking part in mass on Wednesday. You showed great respect and kept a prayerful atmosphere. In class, we reflected on The Crucifixion and that Catholics view it as an act of love as Jesus died for us.
PE.
The children are enjoying our Handball skills and are beginning to use them in small matches.
Maths
In Maths, the children have been learning the equivalent of volume measures and will then move on to comparing and adding and subtracting them.
English
In English, the children finished their own version of ‘The Present’ story and are going to write it up in best for display.
Science
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Cracknell who ended our Science Week learning by sharing with the children different skeletons and discussed how they adapt to their diets.
French
This week in French, we learnt to pronounce the French Alphabet.
History
This week the children went on their school trip to Celtic Harmony and are excited to apply their new knowledge to their history learning next week.
P.E. days are Wednesday (Swimming) and Friday
