Another busy week. On Wednesday, at church there was a special mass for the 50 years reign of Pope Paul School with Father Tim and Cardinal Vincent Nichols. The children displayed reverence throughout the whole service. On Thursday, Year 2 spent transition time with Year 5 and their new teacher Miss Pringle.
A busy week. Starting with a visit to Willows Farm, where the children learn’t all about, ‘Animal Homes’. KS1 held a music concert, it was lovely to see how the children have progressed over time with improving their music skills. The children and staff assembled for a whole school photograph on the field.

Today Year 2 took part in KS1 Sportsday. We were lucky that the weather was good and the sun shone brightly. Everybody enjoyed working together as a team. Today, Year 2 sorted seeds into their own categories such as shape, size, colour and texture. Afterwards they tried to match the name cards to the correct seeds.
This week the children read the Anthony Browne book, The Night Shimmy about a boy called Eric who has an imaginary friend. Next, they created their own character and imaginary friend.
