Year 2 Blog Week 8

The first week back has flown by! In maths we have started looking at addition and subtraction. The children have been using their number bond facts as well as equipment to solve some tricky missing number problems.

What number bonds do you see? If 4 + 6 = 10…. What else do you know?

In P.E. this week we started gymnastics. The children had great fun on the mats perfecting their forward rolls and their log rolls! There are definitely some talented gymnasts in our midst!

In science we have been learning about spring bulbs and why we need to plant the now. Everyone helped to prepare the class flower bed for planting next week. Watch this space!
