Year 2 Blog Week 30

It has been a very busy week in Year 2. The children have worked incredibly hard this week and I am extremely proud of them.

In Religion we have been learning about the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The children created some beautiful artwork and thought about why Mary was chosen to be the mother of Jesus. We thought about the goodness that flowed from Mary’s Immaculate heart and asked how we can follow Mary’s example today.

In Science we have been learning about animals and their habitats. This week we focused on animals that live underground. The children delighted in observing the gardener’s best friend – The Earthworm!
