Year 2 Blog Week 10

In Religion this week we have been learning about the Liturgical Year and the start of Advent. This is Year A and we will be concentrating on the Gospel of St. Matthew.  We have been finding out about St. Matthew and the children used their computing skills to create a word cloud about him.

It has been all about balancing and rebalancing this week in Year 2. In maths, the children have been looking at rebalancing number sentences. The children identified the number in their calculation that was near a friendly number (multiple of ten) and used a beadstring to rebalance their calculation

In P.E. this week we have continued work on balances. The children worked together to produce some amazing team balances!
