Year 2 Blog 09-10-2020

What an action packed week it has been in Year 2! The highlight of our week was definitely our walk to Mimmshall Brook. We were blessed with a beautiful morning. With our wellington boots on, we made our way along muddy paths and ploughed fields until we reached the babbling brook. The water was crystal clear and Year 2 delighted in watching the stream flow under the beautiful old bridge. The children were wonderful ambassadors for our school and they were very responsible on our walk.  Next week we will begin writing our River stories as part of our whole school writing project. Watch this space!

Thank you so much for taking the children on a school trip especially, in these uncertain times the children really need these experiences with their peers even more than usual. The brook looks lovely this time of year. Emily loved it and telling me all about it when she got home.
