The sun shone brightly as the children took part in our May procession in honour of Our Lady. They sang beautifully, and showed reverence throughout. Thank you parents for your support.
This week, we have been studying the work of Vincent van Gogh. The children recreated some of his most famous paintings such as; ‘Starry night’and ‘Sunflowers’.
Congratulations Year 1 for your wonderful assembly on Monday, and thank you parents for your support. This week in science the children were excited to make bird feeders and hang them in the peace garden. They learnt to recognise birds by colour, patterns and song through observation and secondary information.
On Monday, we held a special assembly to celebrate Jesus has risen. Two children opened a box sealed at the beginning of Lent containing a banner ‘Alleluia’. The children have been busy rehearsing their parts for our St George’s assembly. We hope you can join us on Monday.
