Year 1 Blog Week 18

Year 1 led the school in a wonderful assembly celebrating the wonder of growth and change. The children told the story of The Snowdrop by Hans Christian Andersen. As winter turns to spring these delicate flowers are the first to appear and fill us with hope for the seasons ahead.

The children delivered their lines with great enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see them on the stage filled with confidence. A big thank you to all the families and friends for attending and for your continued suppport.

It was lovely to see how hard the children and teachers had worked on there assembly! The children really were great.
My son is really enjoying learning lots of new things and had great fun planting bulbs ready for spring. He has us all birdwatching now.
Also the new home work books have really gone down a treat,in his words he said “see learning can be fun too!”
I’m very pleased to know my child is so happy in class.
