Year 1 Blog Week 13

Practice makes perfect!

Year 1 have been very busy this week rehearsing for the KS1 Wriggly Nativity. The children have been practising their songs and perfecting their dance moves. ‘We are so excited … we can’t sit still.’

In Religion this week the children have been learning that there are two accounts of the birth of Jesus in the Gospels – Matthew’s account and Luke’s account. The children acted out Matthew’s Nativity story.

In maths this week we have been revising our number bonds to 10 and 20. We had great fun making festive number bond paper chains.
