Worms!

This week Reception have been very busy learning about the secret lives of worms. Did you know that a worm has tiny little hairs all over it’s body that help it to move around under the ground? To take a closer look at these little wiggly creatures, the children have been making wormeries, digging around in the soil for worms and observing them under the class hovercam.

On Tuesday, the class watched their Year 6 Reading Partners in their class production of ‘Bugsy Malone’. The children were very excited to see their friends on the stage and were very proud of all of them!

Today was a very busy day, as the class participated in an exciting drama workshop based on the theme of the jungle. Immediately after, they met their new class teacher and then finished the day with a visit to the Year 1 classroom as part of the transition process.
