Week 6
On Monday the children continued to practise their catching and throwing skills. We played some competitive games where the children showed excellent teamwork. We had some very competitive children!
In Literacy we have continued our work on The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child. The children have been producing fantastic writing. We had fun making Gruffalo Crumble.
In Numeracy we have been adding numbers using the cherry model and the tens frame. The children enjoyed playing games to count on when adding.
On Friday we did some beautiful artwork with Ruth. The children were very focused and proud of their work. We drew animals and then printed them.
This weekend is the canonization of Pope Paul VI. The children have been learning about Pope Paul VI and have produced some lovely art work of him. We looked for pictures of Saints around the school.
Home Learning is to write a prayer to Pope Paul VI and the children have been given their Mathlectics password to practise logging in.
Have a lovely weekend.
