Week 5

The week started with a new Literacy text for the whole school. The children have enjoyed engaging with the text through role play, construction and drawing pictures. They have loved looking at different reptiles and are excited about our trip to London Zoo on Tuesday.

In Maths we have been using counters and conkers to make number to 10 in different ways.

On Thursday we has great fun observing smells and tastes in Science. Then the children mixed different foods and liquids to make their own nice and horrible smells!

On Tuesday please arrive at school on time for our trip to London Zoo. If you have not sent in a permission slip or completed it online please do.

Home Learning – Spellings and Mathletics.

Have a lovely weekend.

Gene has really enjoyed this week. He’s come home each evening telling us all about the days learning. He’s especially enjoyed this weeks maths and the science lesson on smelling and tasting.

Thank you so much for the blog every week without it I would have no idea what goes on in school. Looked like a great week.

Emily has been so excited to tell me what she has been up to at school. She especially liked the smells science lesson and making her own smells. I can definitely say she doesn’t like mustard!
