Week 4
In Literacy we described the bear’s appearance and the bear’s feelings at the end of the story. The children had fun drawing story maps to plan their own stories about an animal hunt.
In Numeracy we have been matching objects with numbers and comparing amounts using the vocabulary more and fewer.
In Science we did an investigation, we were blindfolded and had to smell three things and guess what they were. It was very difficult! We also looked at the colour of eyes and found that blue and brown were the most popular colour eyes in the class.
In Religion we learnt the story called the Burning Bush that tells us that there is one God. Some beautiful paintings were done to show the story. This week was the Feast of St Vincent de Paul, we have been learning about his work with the poor. Thank you for your kind donations.
Have a lovely weekend!
