Week 19 Blog

This week the children have been learning about the story, The last noo-noo by Jill Murphy. They identified the events in the story and enjoyed interviewing characters from the book. In maths, they engaged with understanding the concept of  tens and ones, using dienes and speaking frames. In science, they created a human pictogram to see what is the most popular hair colour in the class. Then, they completed a whole class, eye pictogram.  On Friday, we had a special Candlemas assembly. Well done to the children that took part in this beautiful assembly and were awarded certificates.

Looks like some interesting Science learning going on. The Candlemas Assembly was beautiful, very peaceful and serene.
