Week 10
We have had a busy week! This week is Anti Bullying Week and Parliament week. We started by looking at what bullying means and what we should do if we think bullying is happening. We made some posters to show what bullying is. The children took part in a workshop on anti bullying and looked at how bullying makes people feel.
We have continued looking closely at the book Westlandia and recognised how the character was bullied. We enjoyed making shelters and musical instruments to engage with the text. The children’s writing has been fantastic!
In Religion we looked at how the church prepares for Christmas. We made our own Advent wreaths and sequenced the order of the candles.
In Art we made clay pots, the children enjoyed rolling and modelling their clay pots. We are all very excited to paint them!
Have a lovely weekend!
