WALT: Recite a poem.Read Little Robin Red Breast and Time to Rise. Compose a summary for each of these poems, thinking about the mood, narrative(What is happening in the poem), imagery and rhyme.Record your summaries as sentences.

Choose either Little Robin Red Breast or Time to Rise to learn and recite.

Rewrite your chosen poem and make some notes that will help you to perform it. Michael Rosen has some wonderful tips for performing poems in his video below.

Learn your poem off by heart and recite it for family and friends.
