To celebrate VE-Day red, white and blue bunting was hung in people’s homes and in the streets.

Decorate your own bunting with continuing pattern. Your pattern could include different shapes, numbers and colours.

Listening and appreciation

People sang songs and danced to celebrate the end of the war. ‘We’ll Meet Again by Vera Lynn was a popular song during the war.
