When we make amounts between 10p and 20p. We can partition the numbers into 10 and some more. 14 = 10 and 4 more because 14 has one ten and 4 ones. 10p then we make 4p. 10 p + 2p + 2p = 14p
Make 11p, 12p, 13p, 14p, 15p, 16p, 17p, 18p, 19p, 20p. – use 10p and some more.
Challenge – Make two of the above amounts without using a 10p. |
