Summer Week 4
This week, Year 4 has been packed with exciting activities! We dived into fantastic narratives, focusing on characters experiencing a change of heart, which inspired some creative storytelling.
In maths, we tackled money problems, putting our skills to the test and figuring out real-life scenarios. The students also practised their multiplication tables online, honing their skills in a fun way. Why don’t you try these two questions at home.
Our Florida projects have been fantastic and this week we have used our map skills to locate and compare Florida and the UK, sparking some lively discussions. We have also used our oracy skills to debate what the best and worst things would be about living in Florida.
In textiles, the children started designing their own pencil cases, letting their creativity flow. To finish the week, we enjoyed a playing pairs cricket.
Have a lovely weekend
