Summer 2 Week 5

It’s been a wonderful week in Year 2, with lots of new learning and fun. In Maths, the children have learnt how to turn clockwise and anticlockwise to turn north, east, south and west. Thank you Leo B for bringing in your compass to share with the class.

In English the children have been learning how to use imperative (bossy) verbs and followed instructions to make  jam sandwiches.

In Science, we have been learning about seeds and how the different parts of it help the plant grow.

Well done to Raphaella, Eloise and Leo S who played the piano in the KS1 Music concert. You were all fantastic!

Have a lovely weekend

Miss Pringle
