Spring 2, Week 6

What a busy week it has been in Year 4! In Maths, the children have delved into finding tenths as fractions and decimals, enhancing their numerical skills and understanding.

In English, their imaginations soared as they crafted descriptive narratives about owning a pet dragon. It’s been wonderful to see then independently using alliteration, similes and expanded noun phrases!

In RE, the children reflected on how they can spread Jesus’ love, during Easter, in their daily lives, promoting kindness and compassion within our community.

Our Art sessions were filled with colour as they created beautiful Easter cards using watercolours and honed their perspective skills to design 3D landscapes.

The class have built and tested different circuits in Science.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the soft toy swap shop, ‘Bunny Hop’ and Easter Egg hunt. We have raised a significant amount for our Lenten charities and enjoyed each activity.

Sadly, we say goodbye to Sive this term. We will miss her very much but wish her well in her new school.

Well done to the talented musicians, who performed in the LKS2 concert on Thursday.

Please ensure you read and log onto TTRS over the break.

Thank you for your ongoing support this term. Wishing you all a blessed Easter!

Miss Pringle
