Write a list of odd numbers and a list of even numbers.

Remember when we count in twos from zero these are even numbers. All the rest are odd.

Even numbers can be shared equally between 2.

Even numbers end in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8

Odd numbers end in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9

Is 54 odd or even?

Is 32 odd or even?

Extension

Tom said 54 is an odd number because 5 is an odd number. Is he right? Explain
