Jayne Pemberton

I began my teaching career 25 years ago, in a five form entry school in Edmonton. Since then, I have worked in a diverse range of primary schools across London and Hertfordshire and have gained experience teaching in every year group, from Nursery to Year 6.

For the past seven years, I have been a teacher here at Pope Paul. The time spent being part of this wonderful community has been the happiest in my whole career.

I am passionate about Early Years and as the reception teacher, I have the privilege of working with the youngest children and their families at the very start of their life-long learning journey. As a member of the SLT, I have the pleasure of closely monitoring every child, as they grow and flourish during their time here.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two children who are both past Pope Paul pupils, walking and going to live music venues.

I am proud and feel honoured to serve as an Associate Governor of the school.
