This year British Science Week is encouraging young people to think about and investigate the changes happening in the world around them; from seasons and climate to materials and energy.
Today Year 1 were investigating changing colours. We carried out a ‘Catch a Rainbow’ experiment. Some very unusual interactions take place when you mix a little milk, food colouring, and a drop of washing up liquid.
There was a lot of great discussion in class with wonderful predictions being made.
