In Maths this week we have been  using compliments (number bonds) of 10 to find compliments to 100. For example is 2 + 8 = 10 then 20 + 80 = 100. We have also played compliment bingo and regrouped 10 and 100 into three groups.

In English we have started using the conjunctions that, when, if and so to join sentences. Please look out for these conjunctions when reading over the weekend. In Geography we have identified key geographical features of Antarctica and how Emperor Penguins have adapted to living there. We have also started making an Antarctica display in class, which we will continue to add to.

In karate, we have developed our blocking techniques, whilst in rugby we are working on passing and possession.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Pringle
