9th – 13th July
It was lovely to see so many of you at our Year 3 celebration this Thursday, where the children had so many happy memories from this year and shared their hopes for Year 4. I hope you enjoyed their homemade cakes and singing.
World cup fever led to us writing motivational speeches (as Gareth Southgate) in English and we have also looked at how we can keep healthy over the summer.
In maths we have been recapping our mental maths strategies – our mathletic champion this week is Emily.
The children have enjoyed introducing themselves to their new teachers this week – they will have another session in Y4 next week.
There isn’t any home learning this weekend.
