Home Learning 1st June 2020

Welcome Back Year 5!

I hope that you had a lovely half-term break and you are looking forward to this half-term of learning.

As all teachers are now back in school to teach the children who have returned, your leaning will be slightly different. Everyday, I will upload a blog with your English and Maths learning as usual. Your RE learning will be posted in a separate blog, which I will direct you to if there is an RE task that day. For your other subjects, there will be a curriculum blog posted every Monday with a range of ideas and activities for you to do throughout the week. You should aim for one activity a day. Please remember to keep active. If you enjoy the Joe Wicks workouts, keep at them. Perhaps you have found another activity, such as dance or yoga. It doesn’t matter what it is, just keep moving! Miss Pringle has written a letter with some great ideas in a blog, so please take a look. There is an activity for everyday in June.

I will still be available via email and I would love to be kept updated with the learning that you are doing. Any pictures you send will be added to a ‘Celebration Blog’ which will be uploaded on a Friday. I will always respond to emails as soon as I can, although it may take longer than usual now I am working with children.

Have a fantastic day

Mrs Lines

Morning Prayer Prayer of St Paul VI

Make us worthy, Lord, to serve our fellow-men throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger. Give them through our hands, this day their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give peace and joy.
