Our PE lesson – working as a team.

Another busy week has whizzed by!

This week, the children have been enjoying the daily activities to assist their spelling skills.  In Guided Reading we have spent time looking at how earthquakes have formed and learning more about them.  In English our work on poetry has continued and this week, we have started to look at narrative writing using our Tudor topic as a stimulus.  We have started to learn about some of the people who were around during the reign of King Edward VI with our focus on William Sharington. Ask your child to tell you about him and his involvement with the King.

In Maths, we have continued to learn about rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000.  The children have developed their understanding and have begun to apply rounding as a skill in contextual questions.

In Science, we have continued with the topic of Sound and in RE we have started to look at a sense of the presence of God in our lives.  The children chatted about what ‘Revelation’ means to them.  IMG_2303IMG_2302
